Almost a week ago we experienced a bit of unwanted excitement here at the house. Samantha fell down the stairs and broke her leg. She was climbing up with a few toys looking for Mom and Tyler who had just come up to help Tyler use the toilet. While they were in the bathroom, Celestie heard the sound of falling toys and then a very loud thump, followed by a long scream and crying at the bottom of the stairs. Celestie took Samantha in to the emergency room at the hospital so a doctor could examine and take some x-rays. The hospital staff didn’t see any breaks in the x-rays so they were sent home. After a few days having gone by, Samantha had developed a very noticeable limp in her walk. At this point we decided to take her to see the pediatrician. After another thorough exam, we left with the Dr. office with a prescription for Advil over the next couple of days.
