some friends come to visit
First of all, I want to say thank you to all those who came out to visit Celestie, Tyler, and me. Unfortunately, due to both of our "zombie" like state today, we didn't think to get everyone's photo. It's been great to see you all.
Mommy experienced some extreme back spasms late morning and into the afternoon today. She was uncomfortable for most of the day until the nursing staff and doctors discussed some ways to help her cope with this unwanted pain. Finally she agreed to try a combination of caffeine and valium via intravenous therapy. She didn't sleep much all day and finally her nurse administered the valium around 11pm so she could rest the remainder of the night. Tyler is also resting under the watchful eyes of the Nursery staff until morning when we can prepare (my fingers are crossed) to come home.
I changed Tyler's diaper for the first time yesterday. I also had the opportunity to change him today and feed him on several occasions. I think I'm going to fit in well to the Daddy Club. ;)
